Leabeth-Era Resources Limited is an integrated oil and gas subsurface consultancy company, established in 2022 by seasoned oil and gas professionals with vast international experience in various parts of the world. The company is primarily focused on providing technical solutions of the highest quality to help our clients access and produce the vast energy resources in Africa in a sustainable and energy efficient manner. Prior to its establishment in 2022, Leabeth Era personnel have provided technical assistance for regional exploration, field development, bid rounds and farm-ins and have helped clients to secure financing agreements for their oil and gas upstream activities.

Dr. Christopher Oseloka Iwobi
CEO
Dr. Christopher Oseloka Iwobi currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Leabeth-Era Resources Limited. He possesses a Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Calabar and has a robust academic foundation in Geosciences. Dr. Iwobi brings over 35 years of extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, with a specific emphasis on regional and prospect-scale exploration as well as field development across various global sedimentary basins. Prior to his current position, Dr. Iwobi held roles at Nigeria Agip Oil Company (NAOC), a subsidiary of ENI, in both Port Harcourt and Milan, as well as at CGG in the United Kingdom. At Leabeth-Era Resources, Dr. Iwobi contributes a profound level of expertise in oil and gas exploration and development, particularly within the context of West Africa. He has rendered strategic advice to clients on a range of initiatives, including marginal field bid rounds and divestments, demonstrating his commitment to driving industry advancements.
Mr. Ifeanyi Erasmus Ifeonu
Technical Director/COO
Mr. Ifeanyi Erasmus Ifeonu is a highly experienced geoscientist with over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry worldwide, covering the entire exploration and production (E&P) life cycle and currently serves as the Technical Director and Chief Operating Officer of Leabeth-Era Resources. Before taking on his current role, he worked with the Nigeria Agip Oil Company (NAOC), a subsidiary of ENI, in Port Harcourt and Milan, as well as at Dubai Petroleum and Petronas Carigali in Malaysia. He has also been associated with the Dangote Group. Mr. Ifeonu holds an M.Sc. in Petroleum Geosciences from Royal Holloway, University of London, and an M.Sc. in Geology/Geophysics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He brings extensive experience in asset evaluations, prospectivity studies, 2D/3D seismic interpretation, quantitative interpretation, seismic inversion, notional economics, field development planning, and new venture screening for bid rounds.
